-The writer is able to place events into better context with those going around the world.

The distance that the time gap provides enables the writer to be more objective, and place the events into better context with the events that surrounded them and the events that followed.

What was the primary resource the Zazzau shipped with the Hausa?
seropon [69]

Answer:

Explanation:

The Zazzau, also known as the Zaria Emirate, is a traditional state with headquarters in the city of Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. The current emir of Zazzau is Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli who succeeded the former emir, late Alhaji Shehu Idris.[1]

The most important source for the early history of Zazzau is a chronicle composed in the early 20th century from oral tradition. It tells the traditional story of the foundation of the Hausa kingdoms by the culture hero Bayajidda, and gives a list of rulers along with the length of their reigns. According to this chronology, the original Hausa or Habe kingdom is said to date from the 11th century, founded by King Gunguma.[2] This source also makes it one of the seven Hausa Bakwai states. Zazzau's most famous early ruler was Queen (or princess) Amina, who ruled either in the mid-15th or mid-16th centuries, and was held by Muhammed Bello, an early 19th-century Hausa historian and the second Sultan of Sokoto, to have been the first to establish a kingdom among the Hausa.[3]

Zazzau was a collection point for slaves to be delivered to the northern markets of Kano and Katsina, where they were exchanged for salt with traders who carried them north of the Sahara.[4] According to the history in the chronicle, Islam was introduced to the kingdom around 1456, but appears to have spread slowly, and pagan rituals continued until the Fulani conquest of 1808. At several times in its history, Zazzau was subject to neighboring states such as Songhai, Bornu and Kwararafa.[5]

Why was it difficult for Congress to fulfill its duties under the Articles of Confederation? Group of answer choices
nlexa [21]

Answer:

It was difficult for Congress to fulfill its duties under the Articles of Confederation because Congress lacked the power to regulate foreign trade, and most congressional decisions required the approval of at least nine states.

Explanation:

According to the Articles of Confederation, the member states had their own foreign policy and armed forces. Member states also had the right to resign from the Confederacy. Each member state had one vote in the Unicameral Congress. The Congress elected a committee consisting of one representative from each member state to conduct the foreign and security policy. It elected a president from among its members for a year at a time. Congress had little power because it had no taxing power and could not make decisions binding on member states. In nominal terms, Congress had the power to conduct foreign, military and monetary policy, but it could not compel a member state to allocate funds. With the exception of foreign policy, the decisions of the central government were only recommendations which were not binding on the states and for which the central government had no powers, prerogatives or military powers. All major decisions also required the unanimity of the states.

How did the foreign-born population become a major factor in american political life between 1820 and 1850? Who considered this
natita [175]
In the United States immigrant communities became a larger political influence in the early 19th century because of their dramatically increasing numbers. There were a large number of Irish and German immigrants coming to the US at this time due to famine in Ireland and political persecution in Germany. In response to the large influx of immigrants and their potential to influence the political system different groups of Americans took on anti-immigrant or "nativist" views, being strongly against the influx of immigrants and feared that these new immigrants would take their jobs. In response the Know-Nothing Party was formed to opposed this increased immigration politically.
