<em>The system of political parties as we know today only began around 1700’s with the establishment of the constitution and President George Washington. The first two Political Parties are the Federalist and Anti-Federalist, they disagree about some amendments of the constitution. The Federalist wanted the power to be centralized on the hands of the wealthy and Anti-Federalist wanted it on the hands of the nation regardless of their schooling and financial condition, after it came the Democratic and Republican Party, the two main political parties of today. </em>
