Answer:

The Union victory at Vicksburg divided the Confederacy in half, further weakening the South.

Explanation:

The Union fought over a period of a couple of months in laying siege to the stronghold of Vicksburg, which lay near the Mississippi River. This fort controlled the river, and was situated near the middle of the Southern front. In taking the city, the Union was able to split armies and supplies lines in half, and was able to attack from multiple fronts.

Why would a researcher use a secondary source instead of a primary source when analyzing a historical event
OLga [1]
Primary source is the firsthand experience and evidence of an event, where the any given information first appeared (initial report). The secondary source uses the first source in order to give its information (for example: document that analyzes primary source documents).
When analyzing historical event a researcher use a secondary source instead of a primary source because he uses the primary source as the imput information (facts, events, dates, names) in order to analyze them, connect them and explain them in his work.

How was Christianity spread during the Middle Ages?
olganol [36]
I would personally say A.

Many schools did indeed have Christian/Catholic based curriculum in order to have children raised on the beliefs early, considering the fact that Christianity was an important central factor in everyday life..

I hope this helped!
