The quotation supports this idea is “Can we forge against these enemies a grand and global alliance, North and South, East and West, that can assure a more fruitful life for all mankind?"

Immediately after reciting the oath of office, President Kennedy turned to address the crowd gathered at the Capitol. His inaugural address, the first delivered to a televised audience in color, is considered among the best presidential inaugural speeches in American history. The address was 1364 words and took 13 minutes and 42 seconds to deliver, from the first word to the last word, not including applause at the end, making it the fourth-shortest inaugural address ever delivered.

The correct answer between all the choices given is the first choice or letter A. I am hoping that this answer has satisfied your query and it will be able to help you in your endeavor, and if you would like, feel free to ask another question.

What form of sound repetition serves to connect these lines from "Heat" by H.D.? O wind, rend open the heat, cut apart the heat,
Andrei [34K]
Assonance takes place when two or more words close to one another repeat the same vowel sound but start with different consonant sounds.

Assonance is uses here because the words repeat the same vowel sounds but the words don't start with the same consonant.

Repitition of the same consonant sounds at the beginning of a group of words is alliteration.
