Identify the helping verb in the sentence.
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

have

Explanation:

It is the verb that is not the action of the sentence. Is the sentence about having or studying?

Here is another way to tell -

Think of the helping verb jingle (to the tune of jingle bells):

Helping verbs, helping verbs, there are 23:

Am, is, are, was and were, being, been, and be, oh!

Have, has, had, do, does, did, shall, will, sohuld, and could!

There are five more helping verbs: may, might, must, can, could!

What is the function and corresponding end Mark for the below sentence.
Ira Lisetskai [31]

'I can't believe you didn't call me.' This is an example of a declarative sentence.

Explanation:

A declarative sentence can be defined as one that simply makes or expresses a direct statement, in the present tense. It is a simple statement that ends with a full stop, like the one given in the above example.

An interrogative sentence is a question and ends with a question mark (e.g. Did you go to work today?).

An imperative sentence is one that presents requests or commands someone to do something and ends with a period/full stop (e.g. Open the door.)

An exclamatory sentence expresses strong emotions and ends with an exclamation point (e.g. That thunderstorm was scary!).
