PLZ HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 50 POINTS When trying to understand a poem, the best place to start is with the question, "What did

you notice?" Don't worry about what anything means, just focus on the words on the page. You might notice these two lines rhyme" or "I noticed the crow, it seemed important to me." After you read "Dust of Snow," make notes about at least three things you noticed. Then, with an instructor or fellow student, have a quick discussion about the poem. Share what you noticed. Write down what other people noticed. Did you notice the same things? What do you feel about the parts that other people have pointed out? Your response should be at least 150 words in length.

Answer:

Explanation:

I noticed that the poem rhymes a lot. Also another thing that I noticed is that the poem never talks about death, but the concept of death is implied heavily. Another thing that I noticed is that the poem personifies the heart. Giving the heart the person-like quality of being able to change it's mood.  My partners thoughts about the poem "Dust of Snow' are...  My partner noticed a connect between a hemlock tree and a crow. They noticed that things fell down like your feelings can fall down. They also noticed that the poem makes you view the dust of snow more negitivley. My partner and I noticed that the hemlock tree and crow both implied death, with the line "Of a day I had rued" backing up the implied meaning of death. I feel that the parts that my partner pointed out were true. They noticed that things fell down (the snow) and that emotions also fell down too (Of a day I had rued).

During research, you read the following passage on a website:
Serga [27]

The correct answer is D. It is not a strong example of paraphrasing. It just rearranges the original words in a new order.

Explanation:

In writing, paraphrasing implies using the ideas of an external source and author and expressing them by using your own words, because of this a strong paraphrasing would change the language used but keep the essence and main points of the original ideas. In the excerpt presented, the author tried to paraphrase a passage that describes cone snails. However, in the passage paraphrased the author uses the same terms and words than in the original passage which means he or she is not expressing the ideas of the original passage with his or her own words but only changing the order of ideas the text and therefore this is not a strong paraphrasing and can even be considered a plagiarism as the same words and ideas are being used. Therefore, this text can be described as "It is not a strong example of paraphrasing. It just rearranges the original words in a new order".

(1) Renee had been very careful about her costume choice. (2) Anne had told her that there would be a prize for the best costume
Degger [83]
The story reads well up through sentence 5, but things get a bit confusing with sentence 6. What makes Renee blush? Is it really in response to her ringing the doorbell? Sentence 7, the answering of the door, should naturally follow sentence 5, the ringing of the bell. So where, then, should sentence 6 go? We learn in sentence 8 that Renee is the only person wearing a costume.  If you consider what it is that makes Renee blush, it stands to reason that sentence 6 should follow sentence 8. Thus, the best answer here is B.
