Scientists make their opinion about the organisms that lived in an ancient environment based on multiple things. Fossils are very important because they show the organisms anatomy. The layers of the ground show the age and the basic climate information, as well as dramatic events in the Earth's history, like super volcano eruptions, meteor collisions, flooding's. Also the pollen is very important for knowing the environment, because it is everywhere and is preserved well, it gives clues about the climate, types of plants, the landscape, thus making opinion about the way of life of the organisms.

Summary about the pattern of relief in the usa
storchak [24]

The United States is a vast country and it has all sorts of relief forms, but it can generally be divided into few relief regions that have similar characteristics.

Explanation:

The United States is an enormous country, occupying territory in North America that stretches from the Pacific Ocean in the west, to the Atlantic Ocean on the east, and from the Great Lakes in the north, to the Gulf of Mexico in the south, plus having some territories that are not attached. In this vast territory, there are all sorts of minor and major relief forms, which makes this country very interesting for the geographers.

Some areas are very low, some very high, there are numerous mountains ranges, lowlands, and plateaus. There are several orogenic processes that took place and formed big portion of the relief forms. What is interesting for relief in the United States is that it can be divided from east to west, in a meridian manner, as all the major relief patterns tend to have a roughly north to south direction.

The country can be divided though into several areas in accordance to the relief patters:

  • Strip of coastal plains along the Atlantic coast
  • Appalachian Mountain Range
  • Plains
  • Rocky Mountains
  • Plateaus
  • Cascades
  • Strip of coastal plains along the Pacific coast

OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

GPS makes the reading of maps very accurate.

Explanation:

An electronic version also allows the information to be upgraded regularly to give accuracy and reliability than a paper map that could be outdated. There is a less human error with machines designed to survey large areas of land. The internet is a great way to be able to access information rapidly and efficiently. Traditional maps are limited to the type of information it can show. However, with GPS mixed with GIS and the internet maps can show a great variety of information, such as the type of soil or geology in a certain area. It is also possible to read the information and connect it, such as a route planning feature to help a driver get to their destination.
