English

They are both quadrilaterals

With that fact we can come up with similarities:

Both have 2 pairs of parallel lines

Both have 4 right angles (Angles that measure 90°)

Both have 4 sides

Perimeters can be computed by adding all the sides.

Even if they are both quadrilaterals, they are not the same. A square has 4 equal sides. A rectangle is not a square, but a square is considered to be a special rectangle.

Anna35 [415]
The correct answer of the given question above would be option C. The sentence in which the prepositional phrase best modifies the verb saw is:  through the window, I saw the bird flying. The prepositional phrase of this sentence is "through the window" with the preposition "through" and this modifies the verb "saw".

Which revision corrects Sam’s error in the use of dashes to set off a clause in sentence 4? a The longhorns had been skittish, b
adoni [48]

Answer:

c The longhorns had been skittish, but Johnny Chillers—who was named for the old Chillers trail—sang to them whenever they started to spook to calm them down.

Explanation:

The best revision that corrects Sam's error in the use of dashes to set off a clause is option C because it correctly separates the group of words which indicates a pause to emphasize that what Johnny Chillers was named after.

An em dash is used to show a pause and are also used to separate groups of words and their usage can be interchanged with commas or hyphens.
