A visceral motor neuron whose cell body is within the cns is called a(n)________ neuron. a visceral motor neuron whose cell body
kifflom [539]
I believe the answer is preganglionic neuron. Preganglionic neurons originates in the brainstem or the spinal cord. It is part of the autonomic nervous system. The preganglionic fibers affect the heart, lungs, and abdominal organs with exception of the distal portion of the colon. The cell body of preganglionic neuron is in the brain or spinal cord (CNS), its axon exits the CNS as part of a cranial or spinal nerve. It convey nerve impulses from the CNS to autonomic ganglia.

Moving up trophic levels there is an increase in energy, entropy, and biomass.
True or False?
Anon25 [30]
False. Energy is lost between levels due to things like respiration for heat and movement. In reality about 90% is lost between each trophic level, which is why us eating food from higher up is far less efficient than us eating a producer.

How are convection currents in the mantle (geosphere) and in the oceans (hydrosphere) similar ? How are they different ? I NEED
NISA [10]
Hello,

Convection currents in the mantle drive plate tectonics. Convection is the reason for ocean currents. Ocean currents result from two processes - the action of wind on the surface of the water, and from variation in water temperature that causes movement.

Both the mantle and ocean experience the heat transfer due to bulk movement of molecules within fluids such as gases and liquids, including molten rock; this is called, again, convection.
