As the Vietnam War raged in 1969, John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono held two week-long Bed-Ins for Peace, one at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam and one at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, each of which were intended to be nonviolent protests against wars, and experimental tests of new ways to promote peace. The idea is derived from a "sit-in", in which a group of protesters remains seated in front of or within an establishment until they are evicted, arrested, or their demands are met.

____ [38]

I believe the correct answer is: patient’s mother.

“The Gross Clinic” (also known as “The Clinic of Dr. Gross”) is an oil on canvas painting by American artist Thomas Eakins in 1785. The painting is based on a surgery in which Gross treated a young man for osteomyelitis of the femur. The lone woman seen at the painting is considered to be the patient’s mother and had raised many criticisms.

Which of the following is an aspect of Romantic art that differs from Renaissance art?
Ostrovityanka [42]
Romantic visual and literary artists glorified things which takes us to problem number two: the "things" they glorified were hardly ever physical. They glorified huge, complex concepts such as liberty, survival, ideals, hope, awe, heroism, despair, and the various sensations that nature evokes in humans. All of these are felt -- and felt on an individual, highly subjective level. Hope that helped!! :)
