  • Yes, I do consider it shameful since it promoted favoritism in the society. It was passed to make power remain in the hands of a few people. This favored the rich heavily and caused more poverty among the lower people. This reform was a huge hurdle in the ways of African-American as well as poor white people to give voice to their rights in the elections.

  • It was introduced in 1901 in Alabama as the "Alabama Unjust Constitution. It gave rise to racialism. It prevented the funding of public school affecting the education system. People who could not afford much, ultimately without education fell into the hands of a poverty-stricken life with low-income jobs.
