I walk into the nice nature park my instincts tell me to go to the 2nd trail and I realize that the trail is all to myself, so I walk to the end and I walk back meanwhile I enjoy the nice views of the birds and animals.
The following sentence “ even after all these years” shows that this event happened in the past. “ This couldn’t possibly again” also shows proof that it is a flashback.
