From the choices given, the answer is letter c. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. The other excerpts are examples of pathos. A pathos is defined as a quality that evokes pity or sadness. It is used as mode of persuasion used to convince audiences.

The sentences are from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. When it comes to pathos, one must know that pathos is synonymous with the words like sadness, regret and tragedy. Therefore, pathos is used to evoke emotions. From the given options, only the option C does not convey the qualities of pathos.

What probably motivates Mrs Hamilton to behave in such a manner toward the slaves
AnnyKZ [126]
If Mrs Hamilton is upper class she would see the slaves as peasants in a way. as I do not know what the slaves may look like, if they are black you could talk about racism and the fact that in the 1950s segregation was a huge issue. blacks were used to do chores for the whites.
hope this helps in some way

I need your opinion on if this sounds right for example in an essay on the importance of believing in yourself.
Illusion [34]

Answer:

It sounds right.

Explanation:

I just have a few tweaks, try this instead,

I strongly believe that believing in yourself is something very significant in life. If you believe in yourself, you will feel very empowered about yourself and most definitely confident. It not only helps your mind but your body as well. If you don't believe in yourself, the result is quite the opposite. You will feel bad about every situation you are appointed to and your mind will never get to try new things because of not believing you didn't give it a chance. I truly believe that it is dominant to believe in yourself every time that you can and tell yourself that you are capable.
