I'm not above doing something

meaning?
Arisa [49]

Answer:

If someone is not above doing something, they are prepared to do it, even if it is something usually done by someone of a lower status, or even if it is wrong. I'm not above doing my own cleaning. He is not above telling a few white lies. See also: above, not, something.

Which scenario is an example of a theme for a story
Olenka [21]

Answer:

Good always triumphs over evil in the end

Explanation:

According to the Dictionary of Literary Terms and Literary Theory, “the theme of a work is not its subject but rather its central idea, which may be stated directly or indirectly. For example, the theme of Othello is jealousy.”

There could be one or more themes in a story. To understand the idea, one could ask, what is the story trying to talk about, or what is/are the underlying message/s or concept/s or idea/s that is/are being put forward or portrayed through various characters and instances?

In light of this, let us examine each statement carefully.

Dorothy is a dreamer who wants to see other places

This statement essentially talks about the character, Dorothy, and not the idea of the story.

Bilbo goes on a journey and becomes a hero

This statement talks about what happens with one of the characters of the text, or the story of the character, which is also not the theme, as it is hard to say what the central idea of the story could be.

The story takes place in a dark, dense forest

This is clearly the setting of the story, describing the location where the story unfolds.

Good always triumphs over evil in the end

This statement could be the central idea of a story, or its underlying message, and can be portrayed in numerous ways. Hence, this could be an example of a theme for a story.

Note: However, it is important to note that the moral of the story isn’t necessarily its theme. The theme could very be any other idea regardless of whether that is also the moral of the story.

Have you ever thrown up cookies? Well many people have. Including me!

I was around 7 or 8 when this happened. It was my neighbors party and they had cookies and olives. I had eaten probably 20 cookies before being full. And after that I ate some olives. Let me tell you those don't mix. I ended up throwing up on my carpet hours later.

When you throw up you technically don't know what you are going to throw up. For example, if i ate poop and toilet water you would most likely throw up am i right? But even when throwing up it can feel so good.

Throwing up can be bad as well when we are talking about what comes out your behind...... ew i know. If you know what i mean then congrats if not then who are you as a person. But ive thrown up from my behind before. ohhh it was taco bell my favorite food, then i threw up. One great package.

In conclusion I just want to say how happy I was to be given an opportunity like this thank you.
