Clementine Hunter was a self-taught African American artist known for her painted depictions of early 20th- century plantation life in Louisiana. Hunter's colourful oil paintings do not rely in traditional perspective and instead employ flat planes of colors and shifts in scale to carve out spaces and objects in her inventive renderings of her day-to-day activities.

Well for me i don't think so cause you see nowadays that parents treat their children equally they don't have to spoil the son and forgets about the daughter, parents are equally to their kids and in that case their will be no discrimination at all
