Which theme is highlighted in this excerpt from “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe?
scZoUnD [109]
The person above me is correct - the theme of the whole story The Tell Tale Heart, written by American Romanticist Edgar Allan Poe is definitely how a human being cannot possibly bear to hide such a terrible secret and live with so much guilt.
The narrator of the story killed a man and buried him under the floor, but he constantly kept hearing the dead man's heartbeats, which is, of course, impossible, but given that he was feeling so guilty for having murdered a person, his mind brought him to insanity.

What is reasoning? someone help me out
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

Reasoning is the action of thinking about something in a logical, sensible way.

It's often the influence of people's actions. Reasoning can be in your own thoughts, though reasoning may be more obvious. Example of Reasoning:

1- There is a door that leads into a room with fire, and there is a door that leads to the safe outdoors. They chose to go outdoors. Reasoning: The door outside is the safest, easiest option.

2- You have to complete cooking a dinner in 5 hours. You can begin making every course of the meal at once, or you can finish each one at a time. You choose to go step by step. Reasoning: You know doing it all at once will be too stressful, and it would be more efficient to finish each one at a set pace.

Hope this helps :)

kodGreya [7K]

Answer: A. It reveals to the reader how military conflict is  eventually inevitable.

Explanation:

The excerpt shows why human military conflict is inevitable because humans adhere to different political ideologies and conditions such that one group of humans will attempt to impose a certain political condition on another which they will reject.

In the second group rejecting the condition, they will enter into a conflict with the first group which might then lead to military conflict.
