Answer:

The Feast of Weeks

Explanation:

The Feast of Weeks is a Jewish religious holiday that celebrates the culmination of the Exodus at Mount Sinai. This holiday takes place seven weeks and one day following Passover. This is akin to the term Pentecost, meaning the 50th day after Passover, which saw the arrival of Israel at Sinai. According to Exodus 19, God descended upon Sinai at Pentecost, offering the Law to the Jewish people. The Holy Spirit was also sent upon the Church at Pentecost, according to Acts 2.

I think it is either the Feast of Passover, or Feast of Weeks. But, I'm pretty sure it's probably the Feast of Passover. Hope this helps you!

Leviafan [203]

The slavery was a peculiar institution because the slaves used to show in the market as goods where they presented a pen or non-living things in the row.

Explanation:

The expansion and high demand of cotton increased the demand of labor. These workers (salves) were not paid by their owners. Their owners used them as a commodity and not as human being. They used to work for long working hours without any leave or other facility at the work place.

The Industrial Revolution led to imperialism in Africa in the mid-1800s; the 1st Euro's to explore the interior of Africa were missionaries & explorers; reports of large deposits of natural resources & the rise of nationalism in Europe set off a race for African colonies. Europeans introduced new technologies like railroads, telegraph lines, & steamboats...but transportation routes only connected areas that benefited European businessman; Europeans brought an end to the slave trade but Africans were paid low wages & exploited. Europeans built schools, churches, & hospitals...but Africans were taught European culture; Europeans profited off Africa's raw materials & cheap African labor; Africans were unable to rule themselves, participate in voting, or learn professional skills
