Who is someone that would have been considered a heroic figure during this time period? What did they do that was heroic?

In complete honesty, Hitler. I'm not saying what he did was good, he was crazy and never should of done that. I am also not saying that I think he was a hero...he wasn't.

I choose Hitler because to some (the Nazi party) hated that the Jewish were taking there jobs and invading there country. So by stepping up and killing them, some thought he was a hero or he was heroic.
