The existence of some women in the workforce and the realities of the post world war world.

Explanation:

Until he second world war the rights given to women across the world were strenuous at best.

Most nations did not allow women to vote.

Lesser still allowed for women to have equal job prospects to men.

In US however the women had shown themselves capable in the movements of the 30s and also in the time of the world war when they did most of the industrial work.

This made the women fight for their rights and launch another movement for rights.
