Bonjour

être (présent)

je suis

tu es

il/elle/ on est

nous sommes

vous êtes

ils/elles sont

Them = les (masc. & fem. plur.) = pronoun 3rd pers. plural

example =

j'ai acheté ces vêtements = je les ai achetés. (vêtement = masculin)

j'ai acheté ces chaussures = je les ai achetées (chaussure = féminin)

the p. participle agree with "les" because it's a direct object and it's before the verb.... (rule with passé composé with 'avoir'. It agrees only in that case)

Since etre is an irregular verb, the forms are completely different. You change it when the person you are speaking about (he, she, they, we...) changes.

I am = Je suis

You are = Tu es

He is = Il est

She is = Elle est

We are = Nous sommes

You are = Vous êtes

They are = Ils sont

They are =Elles sont

Hope it helps! If possible, could you please give Brainliest? Thanks! :D

Help!!! French questions.
katrin2010 [14]
Sorry if this isn't entirely correct, I'm not entirely sure I understand the formatting.

1. Sarah est dans la cuisine.

2. Farid est dans la chambre.

3. Catherine et Jacques sont dans la bibliothèque.

I'm a bit tired so I'm only doing these. I hope this helps you get the idea of what your teacher is asking.
