Answer:

Before slavery became an issue, it is socially acceptable for American people to see that people from a certain race or ethnicity are inferior over the other.

They use that as a justification for all horrible things that they did to these minorities. For example, They enslaved the Black people, heavily overwork Mexican and Asian people on their labor, massacre the native american people to steal their land, etc.

As industrial revolution came into united states, more American people realized that they would no longer need slavery as their labors. They can use machinery to increase their production instead.

This led to a new wave of progressive movement that advocated for the Abolishment of slavery. It opened up people's eyes that they've been using fellow human being as a tool for production and they aware they need to took drastic measure to give them freedom. This eventually led to the civil war which won by the union and force the southern states to gave up slavery.

But the movement didn't stop there. People believe that US faced other social issues that needed to be addressed. So the progressive movement continue to brought attention to problems such as giving women's right to vote, providing legal citizenship for the ex-slaves, Providing workers with minimum wage, etc.

Former colonies threw off many aspects of colonial rule, but they have kept the essential elements of the state. In what ways is
dedylja [7]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Former colonies threw off many aspects of colonial rule, but they have kept the essential elements of the state. New states in former colonies were fundamentally different than the experiences of older states in that the new states were trying to develop state institutions with not as much resources than previous states did and in less time.

For instance, the first example was the House of Burgesses in the colony of Virginia. It was the first intent of Virginians to have their own legislative body to create its own laws, trying to get some independence from the British monarchy.

dmitriy555 [2]
Based on Oliver's situation and his parents poor credit score, a recommended federal loan that could be appropriate for him would be the Subsidized Stafford Loan. This loan is based on financial need. The interest is paid for by the government while Oliver would be in school.

Gravity keeps the Moon in orbit around Earth. True or False
ANEK [815]

Answer:

False. And the earth is flat! No Jk It is true. Think of gravity as a huge blanket that is stretched out and then when you put an object on it the blanket falls down a bit then when you drop another object that is smaller on the blanket this object falls into the drop and as it falls down it slowly orbits the bigger object but if the speed is perfect, the objects momentum will keep it from eventually crashing into the bigger object.

What are some problems that cities faced as their populations grew in the late 1800s?
maksim [4K]
An influx of people meant the risk of overcrowding, which in turn meant that cities often didn’t have enough space to accommodate everyone. People living in close quarters without proper hygiene + newly or poorly developed sanitation systems = disease.
