To solve this we are going to use the formula for the area of a rhombus: A= \frac{pq}{2}
where
A is the area of the rhombus
p is a diagonal of the rhombus
q is a diagonal of the rhombus

We know from our problem that the diagonals of our rhombus are 14 cm and 12 cm, so p=14cm and q=12cm. Lets replace those values in our formula to find A:
A= \frac{(14cm)(12cm)}{2}
A=84cm^2

We can conclude that the correct answer is: 84 square cm
