k0ka [10]
Isolate both terms with "x" to the left side

23x -(4-4) = 20 + 4

23x - 0 = 24

its impossible to divide both ways because of 0 and 23 with 24 cant divide each other

so your answer would be

x = 23 over 24 or 23/24

hope this helps :D.

musickatia [10]
Hi there!

Here, we know right off of the bat the 125t=$835m, with 't' being tickets and 'm' being money. The total for each ticket sold, be it adults and children, must equal $835 and 125 tickets sold.

We can write the equation so far as 125t=835m(8a+5c), *I think*. I've had a similar question before.

You can write a table for this to double check. Now, we need to know how many tickets were sold from both adults and children. Our new equation will look something like this, with 'x' being the number we have yet to calculate for how many tickets sold to each:

(xa+xc)125t=835m(8a+5c)

The thing I'll leave to you is to calculate exactly how many tickets were sold, as it's hard to use a table to graph that here. (hint!)

If you found this especially helpful, I'd appreciate if you'd vote me Brainliest for your answer. I want to be able to assist more users one-on-one! :)
