What events lead up to the case going before the Supreme court
SVEN [57.7K]

Before a case reaches the Supreme Court, a few things need to happen.

Usually, the case begins in Federal District Court. After that court makes a decision, it makes its way to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeal for the region it originated in.

After that, the losing party would appeal to the Supreme Court. The Justices meet and decide which cases they want to hear, or grant a writ of certiorari to for that term.

Granting a writ of "cert" is a rare thing but it it is the final step before a case makes it to SCOTUS.

How was Cyrus able to successfully rule such a vast empire?
tatiyna

Answer:

Explanation:

Cyrus the Great maintained control over a vast empire by installing regional governors, called satraps, to rule individual provinces.

Cyrus is well-known for having respected the customs and religions of the lands he conquered. He was important in developing the system of a central administration at Pasargadae governing satraps in the empire's border regions, which worked very effectively and profitably for both rulers and subjects.
