During the period of 1200-c1450 in Afro-Eurasia communities women had comparatively less power than their men. They lived life freely and without much restrictions. Women exercised varying degrees of freedom and independence in the private and public world due to different belief systems, family relations, political contexts, and social classes.

Women however exercised more power in their home and family settings. They were responsible solely fir molding and taking care of the home and children.
