I believe your answer is Paint. Paint is a liquid used commonly on Canvas, but also used on a variety of other things depending on the thickness. If it's thicker, it can sometimes even paint on plaster, which is also common for paint. Paint can be an infinite variety of colors depending on Pigmentation, and oils used. Well, I suppose it depends on the Football Clubs Management and their general agreement with the FAs and of course the contract entered with the players themselves. Basically though as far as I know, players receive payment monthly but there are other incentives that come with number of appearances, goals scored, tournaments won etc which is basically an internal arrangements between clubs and players
