The tensest moment between Cuba and the United States occurred during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. Castro allowed the Soviet Union, an ally, to place nuclear weapons in Cuba, only 90 miles off the coast of Florida. For the next 13 days, the USSR and the U.S. engaged in a nuclear standoff. The Soviet Union eventually removed the missiles in exchange for the U.S. removing its missiles from Turkey.

Read these statements:
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

D. Speaker 4

Explanation:

The proponents of the new constitution called themselves federalists and opposite to their names they called for a strong central government. Federalists deeply believed in the incapability of the U.S, functioning under supervision of the Articles of Confederation, to enforce protective tariffs had led to an unrestrained flood of manufactured goods, which depressed the economy of the new nation. A bill of rights could eventually restrict the privileges the federal government would have over the power to levy taxes.

What is a free rider?
Iteru [2.4K]

Answer:

someone who would not choose to pay for a good or service, but who would get its benefits anyway if it were provided as a public good

Explanation:

The free rider is an economic term that designates the method of living of opportunistic people who seek to obtain all the possible benefits of public services without paying the cost of the benefit, that is, without contributing socially. For example, a worker can act as a free rider when he obtains benefits from the trade unions, but does not pay the union contribution.
