más/menos + adjective + que             (más=more, menos=less)

2. Es más difícil estudiar química orgánica que leer una novela.

*Just a different word order.

3. El tiempo en Boston es peor que el tiempo en Florida.

*In this case, we have an irregular comparison: malo - peor - el peor (bad - worse - the worst).

4. Los restaurantes baratos son menos baratos que los restaurantes de comida rápida.

*Menos baratos = more expensive (literally, it would mean "less cheap")

5. Mi abuelo es más viejo que mi sobrino.
