C does.
We only want to add whole positive numbers.
C does this by taking the absolute values of the numbers (-8) turns in to +8.
The other choices would take away from the overall total of floors traveled.

otez555 [7]

Answer: $585.60

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of years that would have passed is;

= 2016 - 1626

= 390 years

Using simple interest, the investment will be worth;

= Principal * ( 1 + rate * number of years)

= 24 * (1 + 0.06* 390)

= $585.60

HELP WITH 4 QUESTIONS!!!!
m_a_m_a [10]

When dilation is about the origin, as it is here in every case, the image point coordinates are the original (pre-image) coordinates multiplied by the scale factor.

1. Multiply every coordinate value by 5:

... W' = (-5, 10), X' = (-15, -5), Y' = (25, -5), Z' = (15, 10)

2. Multiply every coordinate value by 1/3:

... A' = (-2, 5), B' = (0, 5/3), C' = (1, 10/3)

3. A' = (2, 8), B' = (6, 2), C' = (2, 2)

4. The image coordinates are 5 times the original coordinates, so ...

... the scale factor of the dilation is 5.

harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

  • 1 and 4

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Rotate 90° counterclockwise about the origin and then translate 5 units left.

  • Correct

2. Reflect across the y-axis and then rotate clockwise 180° about the origin.

  • Incorrect, this ends up in the first quadrant, additional translation is required

3. Rotate 180° about the origin.

  • Incorrect, additional translation is required followed by rotation.

4. Rotate 90° clockwise about the origin and then translate 1 unit right and 5 units up.

  • Correct
