Tim would spend 88 dollars on cups and plates becaus since 12x5 is 60 and 10x6 is 60 then that gets you to the same amount of cups and plates. so you would add 3 plus 5 together to get 8 and then 6 plus 5 togeher to get 11 and then you muliply those toether to get how mcuh he would ahve to spend.

Hope this helps :)

Use the elimination method to solve the system of equations. Choose the
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

C. (2, 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

-3y = x-5

x+ 5y = 7

Subtract x from both sides in the first equation. Write the second equation below it.

-x - 3y = -5

x + 5y = 7

Add the two equations above.

2y = 2

Divide both sides by 2.

y = 1

Substitute y with 1 in the second original equation and solve for x.

x + 5(1) = 7

x + 5 = 7

Subtract 5 from both sides.

x = 2

Answer: C. (2, 1)

Which of the following numbers is irrational? <br><br><br> Please help!!
Nastasia [14]
Irratonal numbers can't be written as a/b where a and b are integers and b≠0

so if it can be written in form a/b then it is not irrational

\sqrt{36}=6=\frac{6}{1}, it's rational

1/5 is rational

\sqrt{60}=2\sqrt{15} it's irrational because we can't simplify the square root further

6.3=6.3/1=63/100, rationanl

answer is \sqrt{60} is irrational
