For a complete understanding of the the solution given here, please go through the two files attached.

In the <u>first pic</u> all the required points have been shown. Let the center point be have the coordinates (h,k) as shown.

Since (h,k) is the center, it is equidistant from all the points. Let that distance be called "d".

Thus, using the <u>distance formula</u>, the distance, d from (h,k) to the point (2,2) is:

d=\sqrt{(2-h)^2+(2-k)^2}

Squaring the above equation for convenience, we get:

d^2=(2-h)^2+(2-k)^2........................(Equation 1)

Likewise, for the point, (3,1), we get from the distance formula:

d^2=(3-h)^2+(1-k)^2........................(Equation 2)

Since these points are equidistant from (h,k), Equation 1 and Equation 2 will give us:

(2-h)^2+(2-k)^2=(3-h)^2+(1-k)^2

Expanding we get:

4+h^2-4h+4+k^2-4k=9+h^2-6h+1+k^2-2k

Cancelling the common terms we get:

8-4h-4k=10-6h-2k

Rearranging, we get: -4h+gh-4k+2k=10-8

2h-2k=2

h-k=1.......................(Equation 3)

Likewise, if we take the points (3,1) and (2,0) which are equidistant from (h,k), we will get:

(3-h)^2+(1-k)^2=(2-h)^2+(0-k)^2

9+h^2=6h+1+k^2-2k=4+h^2-4h+k^2

Rearrangement yields:

-2h-2k=-6

Or, h+k=3.................................(Equation 4)

Adding (Equation 3) and (Equation 4) we will get:

2h=4

Thus, h=2

Plugging in this value of h in (Equation 3) we get:

2-k=1

or k=2-1=1

Thus, the required coordinates are: (h,k)=(2,1)

The complete information can be got from the second file attached. As we can see the complete diagram is that of a circle.

Hello I'm in 6th grade. And I need help. what is <img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=3%5Cfrac%7B3%7D%7B4%7D" id="TexFormula1" titl
Ghella [55]

Answer:

-42/4 or -10 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

So you might want to convert the mixed numbers to improper fractions.

15/4*(-14/5)

Then what you want to do is cross multiply.

Since 5 can go into 15 that would make it into..

3/4*(14/1)

which makes it way easier to multiply.

3*(-14)= -42

4*(-1)= -4

your answer would be

-42/4 or -10 1/2

A muffin recipe that deals 50 muffins and use is 3 tablespoons of baking powder is being scale to heal 100 muffins how much baki
Zolol [24]

The quantity of baking powder needed to bake 100 muffins is 6 tablespoons of baking powder

<h3>Ratio</h3>

Number of muffins : quantity of baking powder

= 50 : 3

How much baking powder is needed for 100 muffins

let

  • number of baking powder needed = b

Equate the ratio of muffins to baking powder

50 : 3 = 100 : b

50/3 = 100/b

  • cross product

50 × b = 3 × 100

50b = 300

b = 300/50

b = 6 tablespoons

Find the inverse of the rational function <br> F(x)= 2x/x+3, x≠-3
timama [110]

as you already know, to get the inverse of any expression we start off by doing a quick switcheroo on the variables and then solving for "y", let's do so.

\stackrel{f(x)}{y}~~ = ~~\cfrac{2x}{x+3}\implies \stackrel{\textit{quick switcheroo}}{x~~ = ~~\cfrac{2y}{y+3}}\implies xy+3x=2y\implies xy-2y+3x=0 \\\\\\ xy-2y=-3x\implies \stackrel{\textit{common factoring}}{y(x-2)=-3x}\implies y=\cfrac{-3x}{x-2}\implies \stackrel{f^{-1}(x)}{y}=\cfrac{3x}{2-x}
