Great society legislation influence current government programs and philosophies because the legislation has good knowledge of issues and philosophies. Because of this, it gained a better understanding of the needed programs to address social concerns. There are many cases before that served as a basis for development and understanding of today's jurisdiction. The improvements were a sign of continuous theory and practice of philosophies in real situations which helped on having a better legislation today.
