Answer:

The Hebrew people moved from Ur to Canaan to start a new homeland.

Explanation:

Hebrews were the descended of a family who originated from the city of Ur during the Chaldean period.  They left Ur under the guidance of Abraham to the new place which he called the Cannan Land (Palestine).  They settle down there, and when the famine struck, many Hebrew people move to Egypt. The growing population worried the Pharaoh who made them slaves. They escape with the help of Moses, who led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and into Canaan (Exodus). The Hebrew people were a constant battle with Philistines as both saw each other as enemies due to the desire to put the Levant under their political hegemony.
