In the substantive due process the court will look at the law and determine if it has or would have an unfair impact on a person's rights, meaning that all of the options are correct:
- all people born in the united states have all the rights of citizens.
- laws will apply to everyone not just some people.
- the law will be applied fairly.
- the content and meaning of the law will be fair.

Jurisdiction is the extent to which you have power to make legal decisions. For example, the jurisdiction of a parent is with their own children (not with the children of someone else). This means that a parent cannot ground another parent's child.
