The Fish does not give off Carbon Dioxide
It is a concern because it has affected Brazil majorly and mostly on the newborn children, this is why they want a treatment because its ruining Brazilian children

Plants absorb carbon dioxide,water and sunlight to make their own food,grow and release oxygen through photosynthesis. They're a huge part in keeping our air clean. The carbon becomes part of the plant. Plants that die and are buried may turn into fossil fuels made of carbon like coal and oil over millions of years. When humans burn fossil fuels, most carbon enters the atmosphere as carbon dioxide.
I'm not certain on the reason it happens, but it can be lethal by stopping the heart from beating and, the lungs from contracting and expanding causing death by suffocation or cardiac arrest, also putting the body into shock.
