Answer: The offender's social standing is injured by the punishment

Explanation: Incarceration simply means being imprisoned. Incarceration is one of the most common punishment or judgment pronounced on guilty offenders. Through incarceration, the inmate or offender is being stripped or restricted of several acts of freedom, especially the fact that such person will be isolated somewhere away from members of his social group who he or she shares close relationship with and spends time together.

Also, an incarcerated inmate will be hard hit by Shame, reduced ego or a taint in the individual's social standing or class. Even if after serving the terms of his sentence, it has become a lifelong achievement that such person has been jailed in his lifetime.

What Characteristics to states with high rates of felon disenfranchisement generally have
Andrei [34K]

Answer & Explanation:

Felony disenfranchisement is one among the collateral consequences of criminal conviction and the loss of rights due to conviction for criminal offense. Proponents have argued that persons who commit felonies have 'broken' the social contract, and have thereby given up their right to participate in a civil society.

For this week's discussion board, find a graphic on the web that you consider inappropriate for an international audience becaus
valentina_108 [34]

Although this is a personal question that only you can answer properly, we are still able to provide an example for you.

This is an example of a graphic that might prove to be problematic in certain countries. In Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan or Afghanistan, religion is a very important part of public life. In these countries, people are discouraged from spending much time with members of the opposite sex. Moreover, women in these cultures are expected to be extremely modest and to dress in a conservative way. This graphic does not illustrate such behaviour. Therefore, some people in these nations might find it offensive or inappropriate.
