When Juliet discovers Romeo dead, she first tries kissing the poison from his lips, then uses his dagger to kill herself. She tries to kiss the poison from his lips so that she can die in the same way he did for her. She hears the Friar coming back into the crypt, so she abandons her plan and takes Romeo's dagger to stab herself in the heart in order to avoid being "saved" (She doesn't want them to stop her and force her to live life without Romeo).

bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

The correct option is C) Adam finds Eve both annoying and confounding for her endless energy and curiosity.

Explanation:

The above mentioned question is in reference to Mark Twain's ' Extracts from Adam's Diary'.

In this parody, Mark Twain writes in the form of a diary which probably is Adams.

Adam describes about all the things which Eve is doing on the Earth which annoys him yet he does not say much to any of them such as:

 • Adam does not like Eve following her everywhere
 • Adam does not like Eve giving names to everything she sees.
 • Adam is annoyed that he doesn't get to name all of the things.
 • Overall, he also doesn't like that Eve has more energy and curiosity than him.

What critical approach did the author use? explain why you think that is the approach
mariarad [96]

Hello. You did not inform the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible that the critical approach that the author used can be pointed out. However, I will try to help you as much as I can.

Critical approaches are the position of a literary critic in relation to a literary work. This approach aims to analyze, question and interpret this work, concluding the concepts covered by it, its relevance in society and its ability to meet the grammatical and literary principles of language. In order to understand which approach the critic used, it is necessary to find his position in relation to these concepts discussed above.

A critic who decides to make a criticism in relation to the way of writing a work, adopted an approach in relation to grammar and textual structure, for example.

Which sentence is consistently iambic?A.Betty told me secrets.B.Give me your sympathy.C.Understand pirouettes.D.Jamal reques
Bad White [126]

Answer:

The sentence that is consistently iambic is:

D. Jamal requests a pen.

Explanation:

We can define iamb or iambic foot as a sequence consisting of an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed one. Therefore, if we highlight the stressed syllable in each line, we will be able to verify which one is iambic:

A.Betty told me secrets.

B.Give me your sympathy.

C.Understand pirouettes.

D.Jamal requests a pen.

The only sentence that presents iambs is the last one. It contains three sequences of an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed one, which makes it an iambic trimeter. Therefore, letter D is the right answer.
