In his article Leonhardt, he shows how important it is that famous personalities in our country have the responsibility to protest and draw attention to important causes and socio-governmental problems that must be solved as soon as possible, however, this protest has to be done in an intelligent way that promotes population support the cause and not the revolt.

For that Leonhardt cites the moment when the players of a Vamoso team knelt at the moment when the national anthem of the USA was played. They did this to protest police violence and President Trump's stance towards the country's black population. Although this is a powerful protest, it was used by Trump and supporters to show how Protestants disrespect American symbols and so don't must be heard.
