Rising action definition: The rising action is the element of a plot that occurs after the exposition and builds the conflict.Falling action is defined as the parts of a story after the climax and before the very end. Exposition a comprehensive description and explanation of an idea or theory.  Climax the most intense, exciting, or important point of something; a culmination or apex. Resolution a firm decision to do or not to do something.
