He is representative of the typical bored kid who takes no interest in all that he does or is taught. His room is full of toys but he doesn't play with them. When an unknown friend gifts him a tollbooth, he started travelling to imaginary lands. From there, he realized a newfound  interest in the surrounding and the real world. He became practically impressed and interested in everything.
