The amount of products consumed by Americans can obviously affect the economy. If they consumer more, the economy thrives. If they consume little, the economy could drop.
The demands of labor is simple too. If there is a greater demand for labor, the economy will most likely thrive due to the ability to make more products and offer a more excelling supply and demand cycle.
