64% = 64 / 100

2 into 64 is 32, and 2 into 100 is 50

64 / 100 = 32 / 50

2 again into 32 is 16 and 2 into 50 is 25

= 16 / 25

64% = 16 / 25

I hope this explains it.

Hey there!

When you have a number you are starting with that is your 100%. If he next number you have is higher it's going to be more than 100%, and if the other number is less it's going to be less than 100%. Since Tuesday's speed is twice as fast as Monday's, her speed increased by 100%

Hope this helped, have a good one :)

You have a current end of the year inventory valued at $126,543. You calculate that your inventory will increase in value by 2%
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

<em>$134,288.44</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

The initial value of the inventory is $126,543 and it will increase by 2% (0.02) each year. It means the first year it will have a value of

$126,543*(1+0.02)=$129,073.86

Next year, it will increase by 2% again, and the final value will be

$129,073.86*1.02=$131,655.3372

The trend will repeat the last year and the final anticipated inventory value is

131,655.3372*1.02=$134,288.44

The anticipated inventory value at the end of the three years is $134,288.44

What is the relationship between exponentials and logarithms? How can you use these to solve equations? Provide an example in yo
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

Exponentials and logarithms are inverses of each other.

Step-by-step explanation:

Exponentials and logarithms are inverses of each other.

For logarithmic function:

Domain = \left ( 0,\infty  \right ), Range = \left ( -\infty ,\infty  \right )

Vertical asymptote is y - axis.

x - intercept is (1,0)

For exponential function:

Domain = \left ( -\infty ,\infty  \right ), Range = \left ( 0,\infty  \right )

Horizontal asymptote is x - axis.

y- intercept is (0,1)

Both exponential and logarithmic functions are increasing.

For example:

Solve: \log x=\frac{\log 5+\log 3}{\log 3^2}

\log x=\frac{\log 5+\log 3}{\log 3^2}\\\log x=\frac{\log (5\times 3)}{2\log 3}\,\,\left \{ \because \log (ab)=\log a+\log b\,,\,\log a^b=b\log a \right \}\\=\frac{\log 15}{2\log 3}

\Rightarrow \log x=\frac{\log 15}{2\log 3}\\\Rightarrow x=e^{\frac{\log 15}{2\log 3}}\,\,\left \{ \because \log x=y\Rightarrow x=e^y \right \}
