Answer:

C. Because that is what Walter Senior told her to do with the money

Explanation:

Mama shared the dream of buying a house for the whole family with her husband , Walter Younger. Unfortunately, they could not buy one because he died. However, Mama and her children, Ruth and Walter -Junior-, inherited money from an insurance and this money was enough to buy the house. Mama could not buy the house easily, though, because she had to face a lot of problems with her children, mainly with Walter. Walter wanted that money for other means: to run a liquor factory.

Lelechka [254]
Your answer is:

No.

The Iilliputians are very "large" and powerful in this story! They even imprisonate big, strong Gulliver! Swift presents a sort of oxymoron in this story as the Iilliputians are physically pint-sized but mentally gigantic!

Hope this helps!

tankabanditka [31]
In Carlos Solórzano's 'Crossroads: A Sad Vaudeville', the woman is scared to lift her veil because she has tricked a man into believing that it is a far younger version of herself who he is coming to meet. When she eventually lifts her veil, the man refuses to believe it could be the same woman.
