<span>The Battle of Saratoga was very important because it won the Americans a foreign ally. The battle was vital for France entering the war against Britain, re-invigorating Washington’s Continental Army and providing much-needed supplies and support.</span>

2- establish justice: by fair and reasonable laws and punishments
3- insure domestic tranquility: this means protecting Americans from other Americans
4- provide a common defense: to protect Americans from any outside forces
5- promote a general welfare for the benefit of citizens
6- secure the blessing of the liberty: this means that citizens have the legal right to life, liberty and pursuing happiness.
Aristocrats wanted to retain their power and wealth by taxing the people and the philosophers wanted to establish democracies that would give more power and wealth to the people. Basically the condition of the life of the people was so bad compared to the decadence of the aristocrats that revolution was inevitable.
