The primary obstacles muslims and immigrants had to face were related to religion. The Islam was very different from Hinduism and it was impossible for Muslims to be assimilated into Indian society. However, Muhammad Bin Qasim introduced Islamic system religion in India. Islam had simple and humanitarian principles so it gained many followers.
