Words clause and brought have similar spelling: clause is spelled 'klawz', and brought is spelled 'brawt'. So, both are spelled with 'aw'. On the other hand, their meaning is different. Also, clause is a noun while brought is a verb. A clause is a syntactic construction that forms part of a sentence or is a whole simple sentence. Brought is simple past tense and past participle of 'bring'.

Which of the following is a positively biased statement ?
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

A biased statement focuses on someone's opinion for something. This could be used mistakenly if you answered this to a non opinionated question. An example of a bias statement would be," Cloud is better than Squall in the Final Fantasy series because he has spikier hair and is a real hero." This is biased because the person who stated this likes Cloud better than Squall for their own reasons. This isn't reasonable (and not just because they are from seperate games) due to the opinionated response arguing for only one side to make themselves seem right.

I hope I helped even though I haven't seen the answer choices yet. (Before anyone argues about te example sentence just know that is its only purpose is to be an example. I personally like the two characters equally, so please be nice.)
