Describe the southern position on slavery in regard of economics.

The Southern economy was mostly dependent on slave labor because enslaved workers were used to work on the planted and harvested crops farms. In the south region there were many farms in comparison of North region with cotton plantations and other crops.

The farm owners required huge labor to work in these farms. The enslaved workers were bound to work in these farms for long hours. The farm owners they thought this was the perfect job for slaves as it will help the whole economy in achieving growth.
