Answer:

A frigid climate and rocky soil prevented the region from developing a cash crop.

Explanation:

The main reason why hundreds of thousands of enslaved Africans were brought to the American colonies was the existence of large plantations where cash crops such as tobacco, rice, indigo, sugar, and cotton were grown.

These cash crops required warm climates, good soils, and more or less humid conditions which were not present in New England.

The Puritans, who made up the majority of the population in New England, also had stronger moral objectios against slavery (this is why abolitionism was so strong in New England), but from a materalist point of view, the answer is what was explained above.

Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

54

Nikolai Kondratiev was a Soviet Union economist. He was popular for his economic cycle theory called Kondratieff Wave. This economic wave is defined as the intervals of evolution believed to correct itself. This cycle is caused due to technological invention that leads to an extended time of wealth.

According to him, this period started during the steam engine invention, from the 1780s to the 1830s. He concluded that Western economies have generally followed a cycle of forty to sixty years or to be specific fifty four years exactly.

Was Gavrilo Princip a angry citizen Austrian sniper Australian soldier or American assassin
Allushta [10]

Answer:

Gavrilo Princip was an angry citizen.

Explanation:

Gavrilo Princip was a Bosnian Serb conspirator who killed the heir to the Austro Hungarian Empire on 28 June 1914. He was linked to the Serbian secret organization Black Hand, which had previously become known for terrorist operations.

He was one of many conspirators who wanted as much independence as possible for their homeland, Bosnia, occupied by Austria-Hungary, hoping that this would be possible within the Kingdom of Serbia. The fact that it was Principle who killed Franz Ferdinand was largely coincidental, as several possible assassins involved in the conspiracy had been placed on the Archduke's cortege route in Sarajevo. Immediately after the assassination of the Archduke, Princip was arrested and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
