Answer:

Discrimination is the deliberate act of treating a group of persons or person differently from others on the grounds of gender, tribe, caste, religion, etc.

If I faced any form of discrimination, the best response would be to try and ignore such person because such a person is ignorant but if it persists, I would have to report the matter to relevant authorities so that person would be cautioned, and hopefully stopped.

I have had a similar experience when I was discriminated because of my religion. It hurt me real bad, I cried. Eventually, I had to report the person and he was sanctioned.

I believe more people should speak out when they face discrimination either in their work place, school, religious places or anywhere else.
