Lets say you want to create a dreamy photograph, you can break the rules by putting it out of focus. Another great example is by trying to create a dramatic photograph by trying to take a perfect photo with a straight road with fields on each side. break the rule of thirds and center the road, it'll create a dramatic photograph.

Answer:

Breaking traditional photography rules can generate interesting images, believe me. Most people tend to follow a line, so unusual angles and blending techniques result in “different” images than usual.

Example:

Breaking the rule of thirds

A well-known photographic composition technique is to divide the image space into three parts, vertically and horizontally, and position the main objects at the intersections. This framing makes viewing the image more enjoyable.

Break the rule by placing the main object in the center.
